Carrie did my wedding day make up and I absolutely loved it! I wasn't sure what to expect since I wasn't able to do a trial run in advance (for reasons out of our hands I'm sure she would have been happy to :) ) but I was very happy with the result. I was a little nervous to get airbrush foundation since I thought it would be too sheer of a coverage for my big day but Carrie assured me that she would cover my imperfections and that I would be very happy with the result and I was! She did a great job on my eye make up and made me look very pretty but was also open to suggestions like if I wanted more shadow or bigger lashes. She was very easy to work with, sweet and down to earth. Her services to me were gifted but I would have paid for her to do it all over again! I'm going to miss her now that my wedding day has come and gone! You will not regret hiring Carrie for your wedding day or special event because she is the best!"

"I called Carrie Purser only one week before needing my hair & makeup done for my bridals, and I was at a loss. I wasn't expecting her to have time for me, as I saw how amazing her work is and how busy her schedule seemed to be - but when I made that phone call, Carrie was so pleasant and I could tell she wanted to make me a priority. She ended up having to move some appointments around a bit, and I was so excited to have her work with me! Upon arriving to the salon, I was feeling nervous and letting all the wedding details get me overwhelmed, and Carrie put me at such an ease. I loved how inviting and fun she was as I opened up to her in the salon chair. Carrie listened and laughed all while doing my hair up more perfect than I could have ever imagined. And I could not have been more in love with my makeup, either. Even way before she was done, I kept checking myself out in the mirror and getting giddy with how good I looked. I loved even the preliminary makeup!! She was so much fun to spend time with, and her work is perfection. I felt like a goddess that day; having Carrie do my hair & makeup brightened my whole wedding experience. I would absolutely go to her again in a heartbeat. Thank you for EVERYTHING, Carrie!!!"

"Carrie did my hair and makeup for my bridals. When we went to take pictures it was on and off rain. Hair and makeup looked fantastic in the pictures! I even left my makeup on and we took engagement pictures the next evening, my makeup looked exactly the same as it did the day before!!! I had Carrie do my makeup for my wedding on July 14 and of course it rained all day and then turned very humid that evening. Makeup stayed on and looked great. If you want to have perfect hair and makeup, you definitly need to get Carrie! If you want one less thing to worry about on your wedding day and know it will turn out perfect, you need to get Carrie!!! Thank you Carrie for being such a great artist!!"

"I came upon Carrie after searching far and wide for an artist that worked on Sunday. Not only did she work on Sunday, she was willing to travel from over 50 miles away to come to me for trial day and wedding day. She did a beautiful job with hair and makeup for me and my two daughters (flower girl and maid of honor). She did a good job covering my tattoos, which are not easy to hide. She has a great personality and an ease that helped keep the nerves down on my big day. Wedding day hair and makeup isn't cheap, but Carries prices are reasonable and better than those of the other vendors I contacted. You will be a happy, beautiful bride if you choose Carrie for your big day"

"I viewed dozens of websites for the perfect hair and makeup artist for my wedding day. The vast majority of photos had styles that either looked so over-the-top or like something I could produce on my own. Carrie's work had a beautiful elegance to it, intricate and classic. If she wasn't available for my big day, I probably would have cried. Carrie was absolutely the best choice I could have made. She's fun, easy to work with, and extremely intuitive in her profession. I was extremely pleased with the results. She's absolutely amazing at what she does. I received so many compliments, even the photographer while doing our bridal session commented several times how perfectly done my makeup was for the camera. I think that wedding photos are fairly important in that they can last a lifetime, and Carrie made sure that I'll love those pictures forever. Thanks to Carrie's talent, the one memory that will be imprinted in my mind forever is the look of adoration on my husband's face as I walked down the isle."

"When I first heard of Carrie Purser and this new idea of airbrush makeup, I will be honest I was a little bit hesitant. Only because the value of new and improved health and beauty product hasn't been as top notch as I have desired these last few years. Well it was time for me to find someone who had that quality I was looking for because I was getting married!!! Weddings are the most important day of a womans whole life! and it has to be perfect! Right? I feel like makeup is one of the most important things to have on a wedding day and for me it was on the top of my list because I came from a line of having more deep cystic type acne. I was able to have a test type makeup from Carrie and not only was I completely shocked by the cover capability of the airbrush but how it was able to last me throughout the whole evening. (I even went to a party and danced all night) Still after long long hours my makeup was immaculate, never felt more complimented or sought after in one evening by men and women and knew right then that she was the one I was going to hire for the most important day of my life! All women reading this and needing a valid opinion. I am not only recommending airbrush makeup in general, but more specifically recommending Carrie Purser as the kind of person you need for weddings or any kind of important event. I have had other kinds of airbrush makeup done on me and nothing has compared to Carries quality and professionalism. Not only does she make you feel perfect but she makes you look perfect. "Carrie has been my regular hair dresser for years. When it came to my big day, it was a no brainer to have Carrie do my hair and makeup. Of course I was on a tight budget, but Carrie worked with me in order to satisfy and achieve the look that I was going for. She went the extra mile by going out of her way to do a touch up before my reception as well and even waited a half hour for me to show up since our driver took forever to get to the reception site. Carrie helped me feel absolutley beautiful on the day that I had dreamed of my whole life. She did my make up and hair for my engagements, bridals, and my wedding day. She also airbrushed my groom for bridals and the wedding day and he loved it! You will only get your wedding day once and you want to be beautiful for this day and Carrie makes you beautiful!!! "Carrie was AMAZING! I had contacted Carrie about a year before my wedding, but due to financial reasons, I initially couldn't afford her services. :( (Sad, I know!) Anyway, fast forward to June and it's time for engagement pictures and the other makeup and hair people fell through! (Again, sad) I had a week to find someone else in the MIDDLE of wedding season! *insert stress here!* So I went out on a limb and contacted Carrie again to see if there would be a possibility that I could have her help me with my makeup and stuff.....Hallelujah! It was meant to be!!! She had another bride that day, but the schedules worked out where she could help me after her other bride was done! I could not describe how ecstatic I was! (I basically cried!) She will seriously bend over backwards to help you in any way that she can. Anyway, I'm not a normal makeup wearer so initially; it took some getting used to, but her methods made it look so natural and so flawless--I really didn't want to take it off later that night! Fast forward 3 months, and it was time for groomals; but I wasn’t worried, I knew I was in good hands! Even though I picked the heaviest dress possible…Add another month, and my big day is finally here! She was at my house at 7:30 AM sharp! She being on time took so much weight off my shoulders! AMAZING! And throughout the day, she helped me out with so many things! (Since we are both Asian, someone actually thought she was my mom! Haha!) I couldn’t have thanked her enough! If you go with her, you won’t regret it! I promise! "

"Can I start by saying that I love Carrie Purser! I was married to my wonderful husband in August, 6th 2011! Of course everyone dreams of their magical wedding day and looks forward to this day their enitre life, Carrie Purser made that day happen for me. I have never felt so beautiful, glamorous, sexy and confident as I did on my wedding day! She came to my in laws house bright and early that morning and did a fabulous job on my hair and makeup. I am a hairstylist myself. I have never had my hair done in an updo from someone and not fixed some part of it until the day Carrie did it! I loved it and didn't want to change anything about it. My make up was flawless! She does airbrush makeup and let me say, that is the only way to go on your wedding day! It lasted for at least 16 hours! Carrie has a fun loving personality and makes you feel so comfortable. I enjoyed every part of my wedding day! I would recommend anyone to Carrie Purser! "

"Carrie took her time to make sure my wedding-day look was just perfect. I felt beautiful and confident throughout my entire wedding day, knowing I looked my best. I love the way the air-brushed makeup made my skin look, and I love how the false-eyelashes looked in photographs. My makeup looked just as good at the end of the night as it did at the beginning of the day, and I didn't have to worry about touching it up at all. Carrie also styled my hair in a loose bun, exactly the way that I wanted. She made sure that it was comfortable and wouldn't give me a headache the way some undoes can. It stayed in place all day and still looked great at the end of the night. I got so many compliments on my wedding day, and I owe it all to Carrie. "I got married in the most humid part of the summer in the Midwest. A couple of my bridesmaids took my advice and had their make up done with me. While we were taking pictures I looked over at my girls and you could really tell who did their makeup and who had Carrie do it. I looked amazing! While the other girls were melting with their sweat mustaches and creased eye shadow I looked like a model with no flaws and so did the girls who went with the professional. On your wedding day you never know what will go wrong. By noon on my wedding day I had two bridesmaids cancel, three people suffering from heat stroke, a broken cake topper, a misspelled floor design for the dance floor, and like every bride a crazy mother! I hired Carrie to do my hair and make up but she helped this type A control freak to remember that the day was about my fiance and I. She really kept me focused on me, so that I could look my best no matter what crazy thing was going on around me. I would say Carrie and her talents are as important on your wedding day as your marriage license is, you just have to have it."

"The week of my wedding, my mom and I went to visit Carrie with an emergency. We had to find someone to do my hair! As we visited and learned about Carrie's talents, I was amazed and a little wary. I didn't really know what air brushing was, and I am not used to putting on a lot of makeup to begin with. But seeing Carrie's work, I was really impressed. Choosing to work with Carrie was one of the best decisions I ever made with my wedding! I loved not having to worry about my hair or makeup one little bit. During the time when I was in her chair, Carrie was so patient with me because I kept standing up to look in the mirror, to see the little changes that kept appearing. It was just such a new experience for me, I wanted to see it all! I loved the last time I looked in the mirror. It was still me! I was thrilled that the makeup wasn't too heavy on my face, and it wasn't too different than what I would have done myself. Carrie just made it look so much better, and much more professional. "Carrie was an amazing contribution to our daughter’s wedding success. For an affordable price Carrie scheduled out all pre-wedding haircuts and color. Carrie did make- up and hair for bridal pictures. Carrie was with our wedding party for the entire day of the wedding. She curled the bride’s hair the night before (at 11:00 pm in the middle of a bridesmaid party) and started at 5:45 am preparing the bride, bride’s maids and groomsmen for the 10:00am wedding. Carrie did air brushing on the entire wedding party (yes even the men), and make up for the girls and hair for the bride. Carrie stayed close to the bride and her party and did touch up all day. The pictures will tell the story- we had a stellar looking wedding party. At the end of the day we have the great memory and pictures -they are both amazing. I highly recommend Carrie as part of your wedding team. It will make you life easy on the day of the wedding!"

"I hired Carrie Purser for my wedding day and it was one of the best investments I made for my special day. I had a fairly big event planned, and I had put so much thought and effort into every detail of the wedding, except probably the most important. I didnt know how I was going to do my hair or makeup. I found Carrie and we talked about my plans and themes for the wedding, and she had the perfect ideas. I booked her and she helped me plan every angle of the hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. She was also extremely helpful with my engagement and bridal pictures. Carrie has a good eye for what looks good in person and in photos, which was very important to me. She gave me an outstanding look for my bridal pictures. Even my photographer commented on how unreal my makeup looked in her photos. I was also extremely picky with my hair, and she was very helpful with that. We had many planning and practicing appointments which led to me loving our final outcome. On the wedding day, Carrie was amazing. She was willing to meet me at six in the morning, and was with me all day long to do touch ups. I never once worried about how my makeup looked, even after crying, constantly hugging people, and even after having caked shoved in my face. Carrie took care of all of it. Carrie also did the mothers makeup, and also airbrushed all of the bridesmaids and even the groomsmen. And I was so thankful, everyone matched and looked in sync with each other, and the bridesmaid were even thankful because they didnt have to worry about getting ready. The groomsmen were skeptical about wearing makeup at first, but then agreed when they realized it was completly unnoticable. Carrie also went way above and beyond what she was expected to, she helped with set up, she helped with all of the safety pinning, she always made sure I had everything, and she even helped with some dramatic bridal party! Carrie Purser made my wedding day a thousand time easier and less stressful. I didnt have to worry about the little details, because she did. I would definantly recommend her to anyone whether its a wedding, a big event, or even just family or senior pictures. She takes all the stress from getting ready away, and makes you look flawless!"

"Carrie is the most talented makeup artist that I have ever seen! She is so wonderful to work with and took all of the stress and worry out of planning my hair and makeup. The day of my bridals I had broken out on my cheek and Carrie was able to not simply cover up my blemishes, but she had given my face a completely flawless look! The airbrush makeup is SO worth it! I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to look their absolute best the day of their wedding. Why stress yourself out trying to apply your own makeup the day of your wedding? Look I love the fact that the day of my wedding I won’t have to worry about my face going shiny, my lipstick wearing off after lots of kissing, or just loosing that overall glow of the day. "At the time I meet Carrie I was a total wreck. Although I had been given a sufficient amount of time to plan out my extensive photography final, I just..... hadn't. Time waits for no man, and I only had one week to pull off something amazing for my last semester at Utah State University. I was desperate in my attempts of finding a makeup artist and pleaded with ladies working at department store counters to do some freelance work for a student in need. No luck. As I was walking through campus one day, I saw a sign with Carries name and number and gave it a chance with low expectations. My first time talking to Carrie felt like talking to an old friend, not only was Carrie willing to make herself available (although plenty busy herself ) I was also able to bounce ideas off of her and she was full of great suggestions. My models had a blast and squealed when I told them they were getting makeovers from a professional. The airbrushing went on smoothly and Carrie paid attention to small details such as an eyelash here or there. One of my models couldn't wait for the photo shoot to be over so she could show her boyfriend her new look. That said, my low expectations received high satisfaction.
What is great about Carrie is that she can see anyone as beautiful and that's exactly the type of makeup artist that is wonderful to work with. I appreciate the professional atmosphere Carrie creates and I can't wait to work with her in the future."

"Coming from a retail makeup background, I was hesitant to give the airbrush makeup a try, first for not knowing much about airbrush makeup and second I was comfortable with what I am familiar with. I decided to give it a try for a professional photo shoot I was asked to do for one of my best friend's website sherryssite.com, she asked me to be a model for her merchandise. With Carrie's training and reputation in the beauty industry, I trusted her judgment and her advise on trying the airbrush make-up for the photo shoot. To my surprise, it is not like theater make-up that is thick and uncomfortable, the airbrush makeup was flawless lightweight invisible coverage! We began hair and makeup at 6am, I was scheduled for a 10:00 am photo shoot. After I completed the photo shoot, I headed to the airport for an 8 hour trip home to North Carolina. I arrived home around 12:30 am at night and went straight to bed without washing my face. I woke up in a mad panic to get to work on time, looked at my make-up and was so impressed that I could go to work without having to do anything to touch it up! I was totally amazed that I had the make up on over 24 hours and it still looked fresh and flawless and felt light! Carrie is such an amazing Make-up Artist and Hair Designer! I can't wait for her to come to North Carolina for my Son's wedding next May, 2010, to do my hair and make up again for one of the most important events of my Son's life! Thank you Carrie for your professionalism and expertise in making me look and feel beautiful! I absolutely love how my pictures turned out."
